We didn’t have any better luck showing off gray whales on Tuesday, unfortunately. Nevertheless, we collected important data on the absence of these animals and had the opportunity to teach 70 scholars from RH Dana Elementary about common dolphins.

The water has been warming up and was 60 degrees Fahrenheit on Tuesday. We left the dock at 9:55  with the tide moving out. The seas were mostly calm, and we had a little bit of cloud cover that day. We started out heading up the coast (see our track below) and encountered common dolphins at 10:17 just past the point.
